Seeding and fertilization

The best possible growing conditions are determined by a properly prepared seedbed. There are different sowing machines, based on the type of seed, type of material and environmental conditions, and they are specially different due to the dosing system (mechanical or differential air pressure).

The opening of the furrow, the control of the depth of the seed and the covering of the seed are carried out in different stages and by different equipment:

 

  • Furrow opener disc;
  • Level wheel;
  • Seed introduction wheel;
  • Seed bed closing wheel.

The main type of product used is the Agri Hub, a complete bearing assembly, lubricated and protected for life from contaminants, however different bearing types are also used, such as special bearings for supports (with round or square bore) and double row angular contact ball bearings (DRACBB).

Seals resistant to dust and mud infiltration

Specific tests infiltration of dust and mud allow to optimize the design of the sealing system, respectively realized by the rubber seals (6-7 lips) and by the grooves on the rings (different shapes and complexity of execution).

The Agri Hub disc holder is available with 4, 5 or 6 fixing holes, threaded or through, and different threads and thread pitches of the central pin, making it adaptable to many different discs.

2. Super-finishing to reduce surface roughness;
3. Raceway design studied to create an optimizied contact degree between balls and raceways;
4. G10 grade balls to reduce friction;
5. Snap cage in polyamide reinforced with glass fibers to better wrap the rolling elements;
6. Ultrasonic cleaning combined with demagnetization treatment.
7. Flange zinc plating treatment to avoid corrosion;
8. Engineered 6-7 lip seals to reduce external contamination;
9. Sealing infiltration test, with dust and mud, through the use of mixtures with prescribed particle size;
10. Optimized lubricating grease and prefixed quantity for severe working conditions.
